Practical Support for a Rural School Community
On June 15, 2026, Shuyang & Zitong Foundation visited Xinhe Town Central Primary School in Chaisang District, Jiujiang, to deliver practical support for students and teachers.
The foundation provided summer and autumn school uniforms for the entire school, with 90 sets prepared for each season. The goal was simple: help students begin the coming terms with shared, reliable daily clothing. The visit also included a modest donation event with school representatives, teachers, students, and foundation volunteers.
Before the visit, the school helped identify three students whose families were facing difficult circumstances, including caregiving pressure, illness or disability in the household, and limited stable income. Based on those needs, the foundation prepared targeted support items connected to each student's daily life and learning, including two study desks, a bicycle, and a bed with mattress.
The activity was built around small, specific needs rather than ceremony. We hope the uniforms and individualized supplies can reduce everyday pressure for the students and bring steady encouragement to the school community.
The school also presented a commemorative plaque in appreciation of the donated supplies. We are grateful for the school's trust and for the chance to support these students in a direct, practical way. The Xinhe visit continues the foundation's education-focused work in Jiangxi, following earlier support for schools in Xunyang District, Lianxi District, and Anyi County.
